Tourism staff continue to stay in touch with key accounts to share information on what is going on in San Antonio, as well as learn more about what is going in their market segment.

Expedia Summer Campaign

The Expedia Summer Campaign has been put on pause until we see a consistent decline of COVID-19 cases. Please keep in mind that this is a room-night campaign that is targeted throughout Texas and the touch states. If you are interested in participating in this campaign, please reach out to the local Expedia market manager. Participation in this campaign is available and free to all area hotels.  Please contact dorahbenavidez@visitsanantonio.com for additional information.

MasterCard

In conversations with the Senior VP of Global Cultural and Cross Borders, we have identified five key promotional opportunities with MasterCard through their Priceless Experiences and directly on their MasterCard cardholder website.  We scheduled to record our first MasterCard Priceless virtual experience on Friday, July 24.  In addition, we have begun initial work on coordinating our Mexico offers so that they are ready for the fall/holiday season.   If you have any questions, please contact Dorah Benavidez@dorahbenavidez@visitsanantonio.com.

Mexico

The border restrictions were extended through July 31, 2020.  Please keep in mind that the border restrictions do not apply to travel by air, train or sea.  AeroMexico resumed their Mexico City to San Antonio flight June 15.  Volaris and Viva Aerobus have made announcements that they will resume flights to and from Monterrey and Guadalajara.
