The Communications Department recorded $241,951 in outer-market earned-media value from 14 media placements for December, the eighth full month under the effects of COVID-19. Coverage recorded for the month included CultureMap Austin, The Texas Standard, Texas Highways, EatSleepTravelin, From Cinderella to CEO, Taste & Travel International, Reforma (Mexico), Travel Mall (Mexico), Publimetro (Mexico), VIP Experiences (Mexico), Periodico Viaje (Mexico), Quadrantin (Mexico) and Publitur (Mexico).
In December, the magical holidays in San Antonio resonated with media and travelers hoping to finally get on the road. There was a strong response of more than 200 media outlets picking up Visit San Antonio’s release about the safe winter activities in the Alamo City.
