Secured media represents coverage for San Antonio and our partners, which maintains the destination top of mind for visitors worldwide. Coverage recorded for the month in major outlets included Univision, Architectural Digest, KGO-TV (ABC San Francisco), Money Magazine, MSN News, Meetings & Conventions, Prevue Meetings & Incentives, amNewYork, AFAR, Todo un Show (Mexico), Sale el Sol (Mexico), Food & Travel Mexico, Veintitantos, Reforma (Mexico), El Norte (Mexico), Mural (Mexico), El Occidental (Mexico), CAA Magazine (Canada), Motorrad News (Germany), The Scottish Sun (United Kingdom), The Daily Telegraph (Australia) and Escape (Australia).

Thanks to Visit San Antonio’s continued partnership with the City of San Antonio, it was able to capitalize on two days of live broadcasts from Market Square by Univision’s national morning show “Despierta America.” The all-morning broadcasts showcased the city through pre-recorded stories as well as at their live location – highlighting Market Square, Mi Tierra, San Fernando Cathedral, Tower of the Americas and San Antonio Rodeo.

During the Visit San Antonio Media Mission to Mexico City and Guadalajara in March, we partnered with Chef Geronimo Lopez from Botika to highlight the evolving culinary offerings in the destination. Chef was able to appear on major national television shows to showcase his cooking, as well as talk about all that is happening in San Antonio.
