SAN ANTONIO RIVER WALK
The remainder of 2021 includes a variety of festivities on the San Antonio River Walk. All can be found on www.TheSanAntonioRiverWalk.com (includes other events such as Kayaking – for hotel guests):
Parade of Lanterns – Aug. 27-29, Sept. 3-5: Ten floats with large lanterns will navigate on the River Walk on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights this coming weekend and Labor Day weekend from 8-10 p.m. It’s free – and it’s beautiful!
Labor Day Artisan Show - September 3-6: Artisans sell their handmade art, wearables, and collectibles.
Oktoberfest (Karbachtoberfest) – Sept. 24-25, Oct. 1-2: River Walk restaurants and bars will have patio events, happy hours, pub crawl and floating entertainment.
Day of the Dead Parade – Friday, Oct. 29: This will be a ticketed and televised parade.
Ford Holiday River Parade & Lighting Ceremony - Friday, Nov. 26: This popular parade is televised live. Tickets are on sale now for the event, which includes this year’s theme, “40 Years of Magic,” and Willy Wonka as Grand Marshal!
