Visit San Antonio’s membership team kicked off the summer by offering several educational opportunities for members through the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) course. The CTA course provides support to our members in hospitality by ensuring their staff is knowledgeable and prepared to deliver positive experiences to visitors in our city to keep them coming back. Through our frontline workers, we will continue to reinforce San Antonio’s reputation as a warm and welcoming city. If your organization is interested in hosting a class on site, please connect with our membership team at members@visitsanantonio.com.
Of course summer is not complete without some fun. Our June Member Mixer at Topgolf was a success and provided great opportunities for networking and practicing our golf swings. Members were also treated to a presentation from our marketing team on the new Real and True campaign, which takes a multifaceted storytelling approach to promoting our great city. Be on the lookout for the campaign asset toolkit – a link will be included in the July member newsletter.
Arts Connection with Estacia del Norte
In May, the Membership team was pleased to work with Estancia del Norte and their Estancia Cares program in a morning session of networking and collaboration with local arts organizations. Visit San Antonio President & CEO Marc Anderson spoke to the group about the company’s commitment to helping promote the city’s arts.
