September Groups Recap: 

During September, the Destination Experience Team provided support to 11 small group meetings/events and six large conventions convening in San Antonio, with a representation of 21,700 attendees accumulating over 19,554 total room nights.  The Destination Experience Managers coordinated and led seven planning site visits during the month for groups who will meet in San Antonio between 2021 and 2022.

Citywide Spotlight: 

The APCO International Conference & Expo safely and successfully took place mid-August in San Antonio. APCO International is the premier event for public safety communications officials including law enforcement, fire service and emergency medical services.  Early attendance was projected around 3,000; however, APCO exceeded its goals and garnered 4,200 attendees during the four-day conference. Attendees experienced a fantastic block party at SeaWorld San Antonio and had the opportunity to give back to our community at the San Antonio Food Bank. APCO International is looking forward to returning to the Alamo City in 2027.
