November kicked off with the continued push for the Day of the Dead celebrations across the city and staking our claim as being the city with the largest celebrations in the U.S. By promoting the more than two dozen local events in our community, Visit San Antonio was able to obtain coverage in major national and international media including National Geographic, Univision, Upscale Magazine, JustLuxe and Travel Squire as well as Mexico's Vanidades, Milenio and Travel Times.

The beginning of the month also saw the annual sales and media mission to the UK for World Travel Market (WTM) London. This mission gives Visit San Antonio a valuable opportunity to build relationships with top media in the UK and Europe, as well as seed stories and ideas with journalists for the coming year.

November also brought in key Mexican media as Visit San Antonio collaborated with the renowned artist Sebastian to highlight his retrospective exhibition across the city along with showcasing the wide variety of arts offerings in the destination.

San Antonio remains a popular destination for German visitors and media. In November, the Communications team collaborated with top regional radio station WDR as well as golf-focused magazine and website Golf Punk.
