“We thrilled to see our growing culinary scene and the hard work of San Antonio’s chefs recognized by The MICHELIN Guide Texas 2025,” said Mario Bass, President & CEO of Visit San Antonio. “The second year of The MICHELIN Guide Texas reinforces San Antonio’s calling card as a culinary destination where travelers will find unique experiences throughout the city including and in addition to the MICHELIN-recognized restaurants. The MICHELIN Guide is a phenomenal marketing tool as part of Visit San Antonio’s efforts to elevate our city as a renowned destination and bring the world to San Antonio.”
The MICHELIN Guide is the best-known international guide brand and has a strong effect on travelers. Over 57% of travelers in a recent EY study said they would extend their stay at a destination with MICHELIN-Starred restaurants and two-thirds of travelers say they would choose a MICHELIN destination over a comparable one. Even more impressively, 71% of travelers would increase their spending if a MICHELIN Guide selection existed in a city.
“This year’s Texas selection emphasizes the many talents across your communities who continue to rise above with culinary innovation and passion that is palpable,” said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide. “We are thrilled to welcome three new restaurants into the MICHELIN Star family of restaurants, putting them on the map for travelers both near and far to experience. A heartfelt congratulations to all the restaurants and chefs honored in this year’s bustling selection.”
