Bulverde, Texas — Tejas Rodeo Company is introducing a series of major enhancements for the 2026 rodeo season, further elevating the guest experience at one of the Texas Hill Country’s most unique and immersive destinations.

Located just outside San Antonio, Tejas Rodeo Company, now in its 21st season and known for its Saturday Night Rodeo, offers a full night of entertainment. Guests can experience professional rodeo action, live country music and dancing, shopping, and dining at Tejas Steakhouse & Saloon.

Tejas Steakhouse & Saloon has become a destination of its own, known for its signature, hand-cut KC steak featuring premium Akaushi beef, along with craft cocktails and classic cowboy-inspired dishes. The steakhouse is open year-round Thursday through Sunday.

As Tejas Rodeo Company continues to grow, the property has introduced several key enhancements designed to improve comfort, capacity, and overall flow. The rodeo arena now features 300 additional seats, allowing more guests to take in the action.

Tejas has also introduced the Silver Spur Suite, a premium experience designed for groups, companies, and special occasions. The suite includes 30 reserved arena seats, a hosted bar, and appetizers, creating an exclusive setting right on the ground floor directly across from the bucking chutes.

Additional improvements include a completely renovated concessions area with more service windows and an expanded menu, as well as an expansion of restroom facilities to better accommodate growing attendance.

One of the most notable additions is the new Tejas Company Store, a fully reimagined Western retail space. What began as a small store offering t-shirts, hats, koozies, and stickers has evolved into a curated boutique featuring boots, hats, apparel, and accessories.

The Tejas Company Store will celebrate its official grand opening and ribbon cutting on Friday, June 12. Following the ribbon cutting, Tejas Rodeo Company will host a Grand Opening Celebration which will be open to the public on the rodeo grounds featuring live music by the JJ Garrett Band from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the Hooey Stage. Guests are invited to explore the new store, enjoy live music, hop on the mechanical bull, grab a bite to eat at the steakhouse, and experience the atmosphere that has made Tejas a favorite destination for locals and visitors alike. Tejas Steakhouse & Saloon and the Pavilion Bar will be open throughout the evening.

The Tejas Company Store is open year-round Wednesday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

It carries well-known Western brands including Stetson, Wrangler, R. Watson, Ariat, and Charlie 1 Horse, along with smaller, distinctive brands and uniquely Tejas items guests won’t find anywhere else.

“We had talked about opening a Western boutique for several years, and more recently we started hearing more and more from guests asking if we sold boots, hats, and other Western pieces,” said Lindsay Holliday, President and COO. “It felt like the right time to listen to our guests and act on something we had dreamed about for a long time. We built the Company Store from the ground up in about 60 days to create something that truly fits the experience we offer.”

The store also features a custom hat branding bar, allowing guests to personalize their hats and take home a one-of-a-kind piece from their Tejas experience.

Beyond Saturday nights, Tejas Rodeo Company has become a sought-after destination for private events, corporate outings, and group experiences. From private, action-packed rodeo performances to mechanical bull riding, line dancing, live music, and Western-themed activities, the team can recreate the full Saturday night experience for conventions, companies, and groups visiting the San Antonio area.
