SAN ANTONIO, Tx. (August 26, 2025) – The shadows are creeping in, and the screams are about to erupt—Howl-O-Scream is back at SeaWorld San Antonio, and it’s more terrifying than ever! From Friday, September 12 through November 1, the park transforms into the largest and most spine-tingling Halloween event in Texas, packed with six free haunted houses, eight free immersive scare zones, and an evening filled with twisted experiences that will linger in dreams. And the best part? All the thrills and chills are included with park admission.

The Fear Returns to SeaWorld San Antonio—Bigger, Darker, and As Terrifying Than Ever!
Guests should brace themselves as fan-favorite haunts make their chilling comeback, including Bunny Bradley’s Ice Cream ShoppeMilton Creek ManorThe Swamp at Blackwater BayouZombie HordeDis-Assembly Line, and Atlantis: The Cursed Chasm. But the terror doesn’t stop there! The park’s pathways are crawling with sinister surprises across eight bone-chilling terror-tories.

Returning to haunt the pathways are Ripper RowVampire PointSINdustry DistrictBlackwater BayouWaters Edge, and Nightmare Midway. Add in the eerie Colleen’s Dollhouse, and you’ve got a spine-tingling lineup of bloodthirsty vampires, swamp-dwelling mutants, ravenous zombies, haunted dolls, and ghostly Victorian souls lurking around every corner of the park.

Returning this year is the popular Till Death Do Us Party, an eerie enchantment of a party zone where the celebration of a wedding takes a chilling turn. This whimsical party zone is set with a live band and a ghastly bar with a selection of elixirs for the 21 and up crowd. It’s the perfect spot for an eternal reception, where guests can toast and celebrate the newlyweds… or newlyDEADS.

Howl-O-Scream also returns with the fan-favorite Monster Stomp, a sinister song and devilish dance show that will wrap guests up in murderous mischief, and features a live band, singers, and dancers! Also back by popular demand is Sirens Song, a pathway show set in the Water’s Edge territory that will lure and entice unwitting guests with their ominous singing and dancing.

Not-So-Scary Halloween Fun

Those not into frights can enjoy not-so-scary fun during the day from September 4 until November 2 during Spooktacular, SeaWorld’s kid-friendly event designed for the whole family! The not-so-spooky daytime fun includes a hay maze with Spookley the Square Pumpkin, Ports o’ Skull, and in-park trick-or-treating! Available during both daytime and nighttime hours, Día de los Muertos celebrates a tradition close to the hearts of all in the South Texas region with calaveras or sugar skills, alebrijes (mythical brightly colored creatures), traditional music, and an altar to honor those who have crossed over.

Guests wanting to experience the Howl-O-Scream sights but not the scary startles can purchase a No Boo Necklace. These colorful light-up necklaces are Halloween themed and notify scare performers along pathways and terror-tories to steer clear and avoid startle scares.

Joining in the Family-Friendly Fun is Pinkfong and Baby Shark
Pinkfong and Baby Shark will be joining the fun at SeaWorld’s Spooktacular beginning September 11th until November 2nd. Celebrating Baby Shark’s exciting 10-year milestone, the beloved duo of Pinkfong and Baby Shark are diving into a grand adventure, meeting adorable baby animals and greeting guests throughout the park! Families can capture magical moments and take photos with Baby Shark, then dance and sing along during a high-energy mini live show packed with familiar tunes, lively choreography, and interactive fun for all ages. SeaWorld San Antonio is the only place in Texas where fans can see and meet Pinkfong and Baby Shark live!
