SAN ANTONIO (September 22, 2025) — Beginning May 1, Air Canada will launch nonstop service from San Antonio International Airport (SAT) to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) in Ontario. This addition will become SAT’s 10th international destination and the only one in Canada.
Air Canada will operate the service three times a week on its spacious A220 aircraft. Through the Star Alliance network, SAT travelers with United Airlines status who add their MileagePlus number to their reservation will enjoy priority check-in, boarding, lounge access, and a free checked bag in addition to earning Premier Bonus Miles.
SAT’s service to Toronto will be timed to offer travelers access beyond Air Canada’s hub to popular destinations throughout the world, including London (LHR), Montreal (YUL), Barcelona (BCN), Madrid (MAD), and many more.
“With this new nonstop connection, we look forward to continuing to foster relationships between our two communities and throughout Canada,” said Erik Walsh, City Manager, City of San Antonio. “We would like to thank Air Canada for today’s announcement and their investment in our growing region.”
