"San Antonio's culinary scene continues to grow and evolve, and we're thrilled to see two more of our outstanding restaurants recognized by The MICHELIN Guide," said Mario Bass, President & CEO of Visit San Antonio. "The addition of Lovers Pizzeria and Petit Coquin reflects the incredible diversity, creativity and talent that make San Antonio such a special culinary destination. From neighborhood favorites to exceptional fine dining experiences, our chefs and restaurateurs are creating memorable experiences that inspire visitors to explore more of our city. The MICHELIN Guide continues to be a phenomenal marketing tool in Visit San Antonio's efforts to elevate our destination on the global stage and bring the world and greater economic benefit to San Antonio."

The MICHELIN Guide is among the world's most recognized culinary authorities and has a significant influence on travel decisions. According to an EY study previously cited by the MICHELIN Guide, more than 57% of travelers said they would extend their stay in a destination with MICHELIN-Starred restaurants, two-thirds would choose a MICHELIN destination over a comparable one, and 71% would increase their spending if a MICHELIN Guide selection existed in a city.

San Antonio's continued recognition in the Guide highlights the depth of its culinary offerings, from innovative contemporary cuisine and acclaimed barbecue to authentic neighborhood restaurants. As a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, San Antonio's distinctive food culture remains an important part of its appeal to visitors seeking authentic and memorable travel experiences.

“This year marks another standout year for Texas with three new MICHELIN Stars being awarded," said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide. "Over the past three years our anonymous Inspectors have watched the culinary talent across Texas flourish and continue to push boundaries. Congratulations to the entire restaurant selection. Your commitment to high quality and culinary excellence has been proven again and again."
