SAN ANTONIO — The city is buzzing with excitement as it hosts the Final Four this weekend, drawing fans from across the country to experience the iconic River Walk and electric crowds.

Kristin Kroeker, who traveled from Nebraska with a group of 30 people, shared her enthusiasm at the Men's Final Four Tip-Off Tailgate at Civic Park. "We just traveled down here with a group of 30 people from Nebraska, and we're just hanging out and watching basketball. We enjoy it and thankful we were just able to do it with a group of friends," she said.

"It's beautiful. It's a little hot today, but it's fun just to be out and by the River Walk. It's pretty sweet," Kroeker added.

The tailgate event attracted thousands, celebrating with food, music, and games. Alberto Solis, a San Antonio local, expressed his pride in the city. "It's great. This is cool. My first time at Civic Park, so it's nice," he said.

Major artists are currently entertaining the crowds, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. Forrest Fraley, also from San Antonio, expressed his excitement. "Real excited to see the energy music. I'm sure Doechii is going to be cool. Mr. Worldwide, we're gonna have a good time. I mean, I'm excited," he said.

Despite the long lines for the free concerts, fans remain undeterred. Ricky Navejar, who is originally from Oklahoma City, remarked on the lively scene. "It's insane. I'm not used to this type of energy. I'm from Oklahoma City, so it's not as big as the Texas crowd," he said.

The festivities are just beginning, with the party set to continue through the weekend until Monday's final showdown.
