The air is buzzing with excitement as the San Antonio Spurs gear up for a new basketball season. With Victor Wembanyama as their 1st draft pick and the recent renaming to Frost Bank Center, the stage is set for an extraordinary chapter in Spurs history.

SPURS SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

The Silver and Black have a variety of themed nights that spotlight and celebrate various causes throughout the season. Opening Night kicks off on Oct. 25 and will feature a T-shirt giveaway and the Spurs donning their newest City Edition uniforms. If you can’t make the first game, there will be an additional 10 City Nights featuring the City Edition uniform throughout the season.

BONUS: Fans will also have a special Fan Appreciation Night to end the season on April 14 + Sunday; throughout Thursday games, visitors can take advantage of the “Ticket + 2 Beers” package.

 

EXPERIENCE LOCAL EATS AT THE NEW FROST BANK CENTER

Frost Bank Center

 

The Frost Bank Center is the state-of-the-art entertainment venue where the San Antonio Spurs play games. It is also home to the annual San Antonio Show & Rodeo and hundreds of concerts and special events. Recently renovated in 2015, the stadium is the premiere experience for any sports fan.

One unique thing about visiting the venue is that you can experience local eats that embody the True Alamo City flavors. 

Rock & Brews
This rock-themed eatery offers a dynamic fusion of indoor and outdoor dining along with a diverse menu of American comfort cuisine complemented by a variety of craft and international beers. Infused with a rock-inspired ambiance, it’s a homage to legendary rock icons and artists who have graced the venue’s stage + so much more! 

Spurs Club
Introducing a fresh addition to this season’s lineup, the Spurs Club is a new exclusive members-only social club and private culinary experience nestled within the soon-to-be-unveiled Victory Capital Performance Center. Ran by local check, Steve McHugh, the menu will feature:

  • Game Day Burger (lunch menu): American farm-raised meats, sourced locally and regionally, become a perfect blend of Wagyu beef, bison, wild boar, and venison, that is sandwiched between two buttery brioche buns topped with Emmentaler Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and caramelized onions 
  • Silver and Black Steak (dinner menu): Serving the best of the best Texas beef, this Wagyu strip steak is topped with black garlic compound butter and silver leaf, with a side of “5 Rings” – crispy and thick house-made onions rings.

Spurs Culinary Residency program
Each season, the Spurs handpick six locally-owned minority restaurants to take part in the Spurs Culinary Residency program. It’s a chance for fans to discover these hidden gems and to shine a spotlight on their mouthwatering delights at up to nine home games. Past stars of this program have included Singh’s VietnameseJamaica Jamaica, and The Beignet Stand.
