DiwaliSA originally started in 2009 to celebrate the Sister-City relationship between San Antonio and Chennai, India. This unique and unforgettable experience features traditional Indian dance entertainment and food and merchant booths from various parts of India. Authentic Indian attire, exquisite Indian dishes, and dances from all over India await. Be sure to catch the ceremonial lighting of candles and watch them float the River Walk. End the night with a spectacular fireworks display that will leave lasting memories.

Diwali is an Indian celebration commemorating the triumph of good over evil, light over dark, and knowledge over ignorance. At this event, Indian culture is celebrated with traditional Indian dance and entertainment.
