Kick off the Easter season at The Rock at La Cantera with this free, family-friendly Easter Egg-stravaganza. Designed for all ages, this lively event features a large-scale egg hunt for kids (grouped by age), interactive games, inflatables, craft stations, and professional face painting.

Your family can also enjoy an outdoor movie on the lawn, while adults can join in on the fun with a Golden Egg Hunt for a chance to win special prizes with the purchase of a signature cocktail. A special brunch at Roca & Martillo will be available for purchase during the event.

Celebrate Easter weekend at the San Antonio Zoo's Eggstravaganza from April 3–5, 2026, with three days of festive, family-friendly fun. Rather than a traditional egg hunt, kids can collect treats from six colorful stations, each decorated with a vibrant egg piñata display, during scheduled times.

Throughout the weekend, enjoy Easter Bunny meet-and-greets, photo opportunities (available for an additional fee), and high-energy Kids Bop Bunny Dance Parties on the Great Lawn.

On Easter Sunday, the celebration continues with multiple egg-hunt stations, live entertainment, and a special Golden Egg surprise. Twelve golden eggs will be hidden throughout the zoo, each containing exciting prizes like zoo memberships, exclusive merchandise, and special experiences.
