San Antonio is a cultural hub that welcomes people from many different backgrounds. Our city is bursting with LGBTQ+-owned businesses and some of the liveliest Pride celebrations in Texas. (Did you know we have the largest LGBTQ night parade in the country? More on that later!) As you can guess, there is no shortage of things to do here for Pride Month! Let’s take a look at the 2024 Pride parades and events, as well as some of our favorite LGBTQ-owned businesses you can support year-round.

June 1, 2024

Kick off Pride Month in San Antonio with our 3rd Annual Pride River Parades & Celebrations.

 

The La Villita & Arneson River Theatre Celebration
5-10 pm

Meet at the Arneson River Theatre for an afternoon of live on-stage entertainment from DJs, bands, impersonators, dancers, and more! Then, head to La Villita Historic Arts Village to peruse food and art vendors.

 

River Parades
Museum Reach 6-7 pm | Downtown 9-10 pm

The Pride River Parade will have two run times, each with more than 17 colorful river barges. Grab a seat along the river and enjoy the show! 

 

Pride Bigger Than Texas Festival & Night Parade

June 29, 2024

Pride Bigger Than Texas is San Antonio's official Pride celebration, complete with a full day of festival and parade fun.

 

The Festival
11 am - 7 pm | Crockett Park

Show your Pride at the PBTT Festival. Celebrate with food and drink vendors, LGBTQ and ally vendor booths, music, and entertainment. This year’s main stage headliners include Liz Garcia, Cuban Diva, and Trinere. Tickets are $12 pre-sale and $15 at the door.

 

The Parade
9 pm Roll Time | The Main St. Strip

San Antonio is home to the country’s largest LGBTQ night parade! This family-friendly parade runs the length of the Main St. Strip and features a prideful display of marching groups, music, and fun. The parade is free to view from the street.

Drag me to the Hall at Stable Hall

June 1 | 9 pm

"Drag Me to The Hall" at Stable Hall is a lively community celebration marking the end of the Museum Reach portion of the San Antonio Riverwalk Pride River Parade on June 1, 2024. Enjoy a fun-filled evening of performances and music by Trinity K. Bonet, renowned for her appearances on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6. This celebration of San Antonio's PRIDE month showcases exceptional talent and honors the LGBTQ+ community's vibrant spirit through music and entertainment. Tickets start at $49 and can be purchased online via Tixr.

 

Pride After-Hours

The Six Flags Fiesta Texas Pride After-Hours Splash

June 15 & 22 | 7 pm - Midnight

Dive into an after-hours splash party in Six Flags Fiesta Texas’s Water Park at the Lone Star Lagoon, featuring live music, dance areas, specialty food and drinks, select water attractions, and more! Tickets start at $19.99.

Is there any better way to celebrate Pride than with an all-star drag brunch? Indulge in a delicious drag brunch hosted by Kristi Waters with food prepared by The Tobin’s Executive Chef, Armando Lopez. The day’s performances include special guest Ra'Ja O'Hara from RuPaul's Drag Race, Mehgan Iman Dlux, and Reign La Rue. Tickets start at $35.
