Pride River Parade & Celebration

🗓 May 30, 2026  
📍 Downtown River Walk + Museum Reach  

Pride Month starts early in San Antonio, and the River Walk is where the celebration begins. 

Picture colorful barges floating through Downtown and Museum Reach while DJs, drag performers, and crowds bring the Arneson River Theatre to life. The annual Pride River Parade & Celebration has quickly become one of the most unique Pride events in Texas.

  • Museum Reach River Parade (Brooklyn Ave to Pearl Basin) | 5 – 6 PM  

  • La Villita Celebration Festival + Arneson Theatre Entertainment | 6 – 10 PM  

  • Downtown River Parade (Starting near Lexington Ave) | 7:30 – 9 PM

🍹 Sip Around the Rainbow

Think of this as a Pride-themed cocktail crawl across San Antonio. 

Throughout June, restaurants and bars around the city will feature colorful signature cocktails and mocktails inspired by the colors of the Progress Pride Flag. Sip Around the Rainbow is a fun way to explore local spots while supporting businesses celebrating Pride Month. 

A few highlights include:

🌙 Pride Bigger Than Texas Weekend 

🗓 June 26-28, 2026 
📍 Tobin Hill + The Strip on Main Ave 

San Antonio’s official Pride celebration takes over the city during Pride Bigger Than Texas Weekend, a full weekend of festivals, nightlife, block parties, and the country’s largest LGBTQ+ night parade. 

The heart of the celebration happens in Tobin Hill and The Strip, San Antonio’s officially designated Pride Cultural Heritage District. 
 

Pride Festival at Crockett Park 

🗓 June 27 | 11 AM – 7 PM 

The daytime festival is family-friendly and packed with live entertainment, food vendors, community organizations, local makers, and even a Pride wedding ceremony. 
 

Krystal High Heel Race 

🗓 June 27 | 8:30 PM 

One of San Antonio Pride’s most beloved traditions, the High Heel Race kicks off just before the parade and brings crowds together for a fun, chaotic, and very San Antonio moment. 
 

Pride Bigger Than Texas Night Parade 

🗓 June 27 | 9 PM 

Unlike most Pride parades, San Antonio’s happens after dark, turning The Strip into one massive neon-lit street party. Floats glow with LED lights, music spills into the streets, and bars stay open late as the entire neighborhood celebrates into the early morning hours.

Pride Night with San Antonio FC 

🗓 May 23, 2026 
📍 Toyota Field 

Kick off Pride celebrations with San Antonio FC during their annual Pride Night match against Sacramento Republic FC. 

The night includes themed entertainment, a limited-edition Pride jersey, and a free rainbow bucket hat for the first 1,000 fans.

OUT at the Tobin Pride Brunch 

🗓 June 14, 2026 
📍 Tobin Center 

Drag brunch during Pride Month? Always a good idea. 

OUT at the Tobin returns with brunch, DJs, performances, and special guest Courtney Act from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Hosted by Kristi Waters, this event has become a favorite annual tradition in San Antonio. 

High Pride Pool Party

📍 High Praise at InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk 

If your ideal Pride celebration includes rooftop views, cocktails, and a pool deck DJ, this is the party for you.

3rd Annual Pride Brunch
