Environmental education. On the river. In the great outdoors. Discover Confluence Park. A project of the San Antonio River Foundation, Confluence Park is envisioned as an interactive teaching tool to inspire a greater understanding of Texas ecotypes and watershed dynamics. The Mission Reach Ecosystem Restoration and Recreation Project has transformed an eight-mile stretch of the San Antonio River into a quality riparian woodland ecosystem. Confluence Park has a multitude of features designed to inspire visitors to become stewards of our environment. Open daily from sunrise to 11pm, the park offers 35 parking spaces on site, and is a gateway to hike, bike and paddling trails, which begins near the Blue Star Arts Complex and ends near Mission Espada.
