One of my family’s favorite experiences in the city is going to the Pearl Farmer’s Market. I love seeing the joy on my boy’s faces when we arrive and they get to play on the splash pad, or in Pearl Park. We always bring our bubble machine, and it’s a huge hit with all the little ones. Sometimes we swing into Twig, a local bookstore located at Pearl for storytime.

My wife and I love the diversity that is on display at the Farmer’s Market. It is a great showing of our city’s heritage, plus the beautifully repurposed space brings the robust history of San Antonio into play. Pearl is such a great place to spend time with family, friends and significant others alike. I’m so glad that we have the opportunity to experience the district and it’s happenings as a family.
