Formed in 2002, the Wayward Gypsies have drifted from town to town playing their music for anyone who would listen. From the beer joints to the coffee shops they have stayed true to their roots, doing it all themselves, from writing, producing and recording their music to booking and promoting their shows. This independent duo is not just another acoustic act, with Rich kicking the stomp box while playing lead guitar added to Maranda’s country blues harp and flat top rhythm, these two are the band. They share the vocals and real old time harmonies. With a unique style that blends folk and bluegrass with honky tonk/country.
