Symphony of Flavors: Savor Spain
Maestro Sebastian Lang-Lessing loves how fine music and fun dining bring people together and, this year, has cultivated a spring festival exploring just that! Symphony of Flavors brings together chefs from local restaurants and live performances by the San Antonio Symphony, showcasing the confluence of our city’s rich culture and history by combining classical music and food.
In addition to the great concerts at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, the City of San Antonio World Heritage Office and San Antonio Symphony are partnering to create and host this exciting three-week-long series featuring the flavors and melodies of Italy, France, and Spain. To get the full taste, the Spanish Governor’s Palace will host three themed dinners celebrating San Antonio UNESCO Creative City Of Gastronomy designation. These special dinners, to be prepared by local chefs and coordinated by Pharm Table’s Elizabeth Johnson, will feature culinary delights from the country of the week—and you can even meet the chefs during the cocktail hour.
