He has had multiple songs in the top 10 and top 15 of the Texas music charts and has a steady and growing fan base. Songs Like “Lonely Is Holding Me” and ” Perfect Way To Fall” reached the #5 and #6 spots on the Texas Music Charts at one point. With his powerful voice and honest lyrics Scott has a song for every occasion. Scott prides himself on songwriting and working his best to keep his voice in shape. He’s been called a smooth Country crooner, but he can also belt out the party songs when needed. Growing up in the 90s some of Scott’s biggest influences are George Strait and Garth Brooks. He’s also a big fan of Gary Allan. Scott plays a lot of original music, but you can bet he will play some crowd favorites from the artists mentioned above as well as some Country music Icons like Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and others. “I started out at 18 in 2001 green as can be. I’ve learned A LOT about what not to do and what to do in the music business and how to conduct yourself from just jumping in a van with 5 stinky guys and hitting the road. I didn’t have a mentor and you could say I’ve been on a long journey, but I feel that in a time where people want instant success that I have a leg up on that mentality. I will be working on my craft until I’m 6 feet under and every year I feel like I get better and better. When the time comes and the hard work pays off, I will be ready for bigger and better things. I feel at 34 like I’m just now coming into my style of singing and that I’ve found my voice and where I’m most comfortable and consistent. I feel like my best work is still ahead of me and that I’m kind of starting from the beginning to prove my talent in a scene I’ve been a part of for a while”I kind of took a break….. well slowed down a little to figure out what my next move was. I spent about 6 years learning how to record and mix my own music and started working in my home studio, as well as in professional studios to learn that craft. I am working on new music and I finally know how to get what is in my head out on tape, and I can’t wait to finish this project and start promoting this more grown up sound. It’s still going to have the energy and passion I’ve tried to put into all my past projects, but these new songs I feel are a more honest and true representation of what I can do.”
