Nobody’s Girl, Nicolette Good, Colin Gilmore
Nobody’s Girl: Hailing from Texas, Alabama, and Georgia respectively, now neighbors in Austin, BettySoo, Grace Pettis, and Rebecca Loebe are bewitching audiences with sumptuous harmonies and unforgettable songwriting.
Their collabortion as NOBODY’S GIRL resulted in their debut EP, Waterline, released in the fall of 2018 on the Lucky Hound label.
Colin Gilmore: Gilmore has been writing, performing and touring for more than a decade. His latest release, The Wild and Hollow, recorded in Austin and Chicago, showcases rich arrangements and instrumentation while still leaning on his roots rock and singer/songwriter foundation.
Based in Austin, Texas, Nicolette Good, winner of 2012’s Kerrville New Folk, released her first full-length, “Monarch” that same year which includes songs like “Hurricane Caroline” and “Pretty Clementine,” which tell intimate stories of enigmatic, tragic characters, as she sings with penetrating insight about hope, wrenching love, and the mysteries of everyday life. A Houston native, Nicolette is also a staff musician for Home Street Music, an Austin non-profit using music to empower people who have experienced homelessness.
