Nature of Poetry

Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson, current Poet Laurate of San Antonio, will lead a poetry writing workshop in Chris Park. The 90-minute workshop will include writing exercises in a variety of poetry forms inspired by the natural surroundings of the park. The program is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

The workshop will take place outdoors in Chris Park, 111 Camp Street, San Antonio. Participants are invited to explore Chris Park, Studio and Ruby City after the session (reservations for the galleries are recommended).
