Meet Me In San Antonio: Hemisfair ’68 on Film Screening

The Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI) is excited to announce a film screening of HemisFair ‘68 at the very place the event took place.

DON’T MISS THIS: Come early to explore a video scavenger hunt across Hemisfair. With just a phone, visitors can access archival footage shot in the location where they stand. Signs across the area will feature QR codes to access videos.
The screening is in connection to a new online exhibit, “Meet Me in San Antonio: HemisFair ’”68 on Film” on TexasArchive.org. The exhibit draws from home movies, television news coverage, promotional films, and more, the exhibit explores the planning and execution of the 1968 San Antonio event. Presented in partnership with the office of the Governor’s Texas Film Commission (TFC), the exhibit can be viewed at TexasArchive.org/meet-me-in-san-antonio.
