Mastering Handstands – All Levels
Description: Whether you are a total beginner or someone who already understands the basics — this class is designed to support all ability levels as skills build progressively. Learn proper body alignment, control and awareness through fun and challenging drills. These exercises will not only teach you how to find balance in a handstand, but will greatly improve your overall body conditioning.
Things you will learn:
– improve range of motion in your shoulders and hips
– strengthen your core, wrists and forearms to give you better support
– strengthen your shoulder girdle for balancing and pressing into a handstand
– work fun proprioceptive drills to greatly improve your awareness for finding balance
Prerequisites: Open to anyone!
Schedule: This class meets once per week on Saturdays from 12:00-1:15 PM (March 7 – April 18). Class will not be held 3/21/2020.
