La Cantera Resort & Spa Goes Pink to Benefit WINGS
Not only is La Cantera Resort the place to witness the most awe-inspiring sunsets, in October, it’s the place
to celebrate worthy causes and support the greater good. One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime and to bring light and focus on Breast Cancer Awareness the landscaping on Plaza San Saba just off the resort’s main lobby and outside Loma de Vida will cast a rosy glow.
During October, the La Cantera Family raises its glasses – and donations – to WINGS at Sire Bar, Signature Restaurant Inspired by Chef Andrew Weissman and at Loma de Vida Spa & Wellness.
Pinks on the Patio at Sire Bar features live music every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m., $10 cocktails, $5 Rosé, from 4 p.m. to midnight; with $2 from each drink special benefitting WINGS. Ten dollars of every PINK Himalayan Salt Stone Massage starting at $165 at Loma de Vida, goes back to WINGS. And, Chef Andrew Weissman will have surprise dessert and drink specials at Signature, with percentages also benefitting the non-profit.
Five percent of all room revenue proceeds booked under “La Cantera Goes Pink” is donated to WINGS and all dining venues will have a contribution write-in on guest checks. To make your reservation visit LaCanteraResort.com.
WINGS is the only program of its kind in the country providing health care services to women with breast cancer. Ninety-five percent of women treated through WINGS are still living, as a result of the program.
