Historic St. Anthony Hotel to Serve Exquisite Thanksgiving Day Feast
This Thanksgiving, celebrate with an elegant, chef-prepared feast at The St. Anthony Hotel. Built by cattle barons in 1909, this architecturally grand hotel has been the home of traditions and special occasions for more than a century.
The feast will be held in the hotel’s restaurant, Gallery On the Park, where floor to ceiling windows overlook Travis Park. Additional seating will be available in neighboring Peacock Alley, the hotel’s elegant social area adorned with French Empire antiques and crystal chandeliers fashioned after the ones on the Titanic.
Executive Chef John Zaner is partnering with local farms, ranches and artisans to thoughtfully present the best bounty of the region this Thanksgiving. His signature menu adds a creative twist to holiday classics.
The Menu Includes:
Antipasti Station with warm baked brie; grilled radicchio, smoked bacon, feta, and walnut vinaigrette;
baby romaine caesar; arugula and pickled beet salad; fresh mozzarella caprese salad; citrus hummus, chevre with garlic confit; and grilled flat bread and pretzel crisps.
Charcuterie Station offering imported and domestic meats and cheeses; pork rillettes with peach marmalade; country-style terrine with cherry port cumberland; house-cured salmon carpaccio marinated manchego with Spanish paprika; point reyes cheese with salted walnuts; and marinated olives with hibiscus honey.
Seafood Selection of gulf oysters; poached shrimp cocktail; lump crab; and shrimp ceviche served with lemon, cocktail sauce and mignonette sauce. Also available is a fennel-crusted salmon with celery root-potato puree, corn and tarragon cream.
Carving Block with herb-roasted turkey; pepper-garlic-crusted prime rib; and brown-sugar-glazed ham
Accompaniments to include butter-whipped potatoes; roasted broccolini and asparagus; quinoa-toasted almond pilaf; roasted sweet potato; traditional celery-sage stuffing; brussel sprouts with pomegranate and honey; assorted artisan rolls and whipped salted butter.
Desserts will indulge with selections like warm chocolate soufflé cake with butter pecans, bourbon pecan pie, pumpkin pie, cranberry-gingersnap cheesecake; lemon meringue tarts; walnut fudge brownies, apple chai mousse cups, and assorted fall cookies.
Hot Spiced Apple Cider Station
