Gary Zaboly: His Research and Art
Gary Zaboly, renowned Texas History artist, returns to the Alamo to share his art and research of the famous battle of 1836 and the Texas Revolution. In this one hour presentation, Gary will focus on the Alamo Defenders. While most of the men who fought in the battle of March 6, 1836 died without a single likeness of themselves in existence, there are descriptions from their loved ones and others. Gary uses these accounts to recreate what they might have looked like, giving us a better understanding of these determined men. Join Gary on Monday, February 25, 2019 as he attempts to bring Alamo Defenders to life, 183 years after the Battle of the Alamo.
