New this year for ages 15-17, the CarFest New Driver’s Workshop! Teens get to learn some basic car knowledge, use the distracted driving simulators and play New Driver Jeopardy! Every teen that attends this workshop will get a chance to win a free vehicle! Still room to sign-up.
During Carfest, some of San Antonio’s top automotive repair facilities volunteer their time to repair 25 vehicles for preselected car repair recipients nominated through regional charitable organizations. Working alongside the professionals, automotive students from local schools will learn job-related skills and gain hands-on experience. In addition, Boy Scouts will have an opportunity onsite to pursue an Automotive Maintenance Merit badge. CarFest will award Trade Schools a total of nearly $100,000 in cash and equipment.
