New experiences and hot offers combine for a can’t-miss return to travel deep in the heart of Texas

SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 24, 2021) – It’s time to see and say si to San Antonio. The renowned Texas getaway is making it easier and safer to enjoy much-deserved time to relax and have fun together. The Si San Antonio campaign, running from May 24 to September 6, provides travelers more than 150 individual offers from hotels, restaurants and attractions. Plus, to ensure the comfort and make the city safer, hotels, restaurants, attractions and other businesses are continuing their enhanced health and safety protocols.

“We know many of us are ready to get back to exploring and enjoying the places we love,” said Dave Krupinski, Chief Operating Officer for Visit San Antonio. “Through Si San Antonio we showcase the many beloved aspects of the Alamo City while also featuring the exciting and new offerings our guests will want to experience first-hand.”

With the San Antonio campaign, visitors can stay, dine and play at more than 150 local businesses. The journey begins by booking one of the over 80 participating hotel deals through the Visit San Antonio website. Hotels are available in all price and style preferences, located across the city – so whether travelers want to be in the heart of downtown with easy access to the River Walk and the Alamo, close to SeaWorld San Antonio or Six Flags Fiesta Texas, centrally located near the airport or one of the other exciting areas of town, they’ll find the hotel that is right for them. As part of this promotion, guests can know that in addition to having fun they’ll be doing good for the San Antonio community, as their stay when booking at a participating hotel will result in a donation to the San Antonio Food Bank.

By booking one of the offers available on the San Antonio website, guests will receive access to a San Antonio mobile pass at hotel check-in. The mobile pass unlocks special deals, discounts and offers from participating restaurants and attractions throughout the city. Participating restaurants, including Two Bros. BBQ Market, Paesanos Riverwalk, Southern Roots Vegan Bakery, Toro Kitchen + Bar, will reward Si San Antonio travelers with a variety of specials ranging from percentage off the total check to free food or drink.

When it’s time to explore, relax or have fun, more than 75 attractions, museums, tours and shops will reward Si San Antonio guests with discounts and even free gifts. Some samples of the fantastic offers include 20% off the Discovery Tour at Natural Bridge Caverns, free admission at Howl at the Moon San Antonio, 30 minutes of free bowling plus a complimentary giant pretzel at Bowl & Barrel, discounted admission to The Witte and San Antonio Museum of Art; among many others.

San Antonio’s renowned family fun, culture and culinary offerings have only gotten better in the past year as new restaurants, attractions, hotels and experiences have opened. The UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy designated city is expanding its culinary reach with more than two dozen restaurant openings in the last 12 months including heritage Mexican, Jamaican, German beer garden, Chinese American fusion, casual French, Mediterranean and Texas barbecue options, just to name a few. For culture and entertainment, travelers can look forward to the Tobin Land Bridge at Hardberger Park (the largest of its kind in the US), Black History River Cruises presented by the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum (which is celebrating a new downtown exhibition home at La Villita) and the curated experiential art gallery Hopscotch, along with new exhibitions at all the major museums in the city and new rides at SeaWorld San Antonio and Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

The priority on safety of the community and visitors is one of the reasons that San Antonio is a top vacation destination in the country. San Antonio’s civic, business and association communities have joined forces to ensure that as the city emerges from the COVID-19 crisis it maintains safety as the most important aspect. In addition to more than 2,300 local businesses taking the Greater. Safer. Together Pledge, many hotels, restaurants and attractions have outlined specific new programs to enhance their health and safety operations. To learn more, visit
