History has never tasted so good! The Guenther House brings American classics to San Antonio with delicious daily breakfast, lunch and bakery offerings. The restaurant itself encompasses the original kitchen, tea room, dining room and the outdoor arbor areas of the historic Guenther House. In fact, the downstairs restaurant still boasts “ballroom-style” seating and displays the turn of the 20th century style used in hotels and restaurants. As for the food, don’t miss the buttermilk biscuits and country sausage gravy and Pioneer Mills pancakes for breakfast. Lunch specials rotate daily, so come back often to try the restaurant’s variety of quiches, soups and salads, and sandwiches. Catering is also available upon request.
