Jess Mahogany

Healing speaker, actress and poet, Jess Mahogany, brings magnificent and eye-opening real life struggles to life with her words. Accompanied by various melodies and visual depictions of her poetic work, her show reflects the struggle and the triumph, the dream and the reality, and the reminder to listen to the voice within. Featuring more than a decade’s worth of her work, the artist will share vignettes from her upcoming poetry book Conversation Pieces, which reviews topics on spark, trauma, love, bossing up, and matters of the soul.

In collaboration with “The Divas of Eastwood,” Jess finds inspiration and a deeper meaning in her art which helps her overcome trauma and struggles. Aside from her many performances on spoken word stages from coast to coast, Jess has been in several other productions including numerous Ethics Follies shows and more recently, Cries of a Wounded Soul. You can also catch her in her first feature film, Ebony Hustle – releasing December 2021.
