Not only is this performance venue a work of art, but since 1926 the theater has hosted top performances.

Fiesta Noche Del Rio  Time: June 9, 8:30 pm – 10:15 pm 
Location: Arneson River Theatre | 418 Villita St.  

The Alamo Kiwanis Club presents the Fiesta Noche Del Rio for its 66th season. Experience Mariachis, Flamenco guitar, dancing, singing, and a host of cultural activities. This is a San Antonio tradition you won’t want to miss.  

 

Mariachi Extravaganza Summer Recital  Time: June 30th, 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Location: Tobin Center for the Performing Arts  | 100 Auditorium Cir.

Can’t get enough of mariachis? Then come to the Mariachi Extravaganza Summer Recital. Not only will there be 50 young mariachi vocalists, but there will also be soloists and many breathtaking performances.  

 

San Antonio’s Local Music Scene is Thriving 

Howl at the Moon

San Antonio is not just a destination for major concerts and music festivals, but you can catch plenty of local performers and bands in the Alamo City. San Antonio is host to many talented musicians who perform at clubs, bars, and other musical venues around town. 

A great first top to check out is Howl at The Moon, which is part patio and part piano bar. You will find two grand pianos at the center of the venue where plenty of dueling piano fun will be had. Grab a drink, take in the views, and dance the night away.  

If you want to get your heart racing, why not head over to Merkaba, where live music is held nightly and DJs take the stage every Thursday through Sunday. There are plenty of appetizers, cold drinks, and room to shake it all over the dance floor.
