Welcome to the Tasting Texas Wine + Food Festival
The Tasting Texas Wine + Food Festival is an exclusive culinary event for the ages. Born from a collaboration of Visit San Antonio and Culinaria’s partnership with the iconic James Beard Foundation, the beautiful historic Travis Park and surrounding areas become culinary hubs from October 27th – October 30th. World-renowned chefs from across the U.S. will join together in the Alamo City to showcase their culinary skills and masterpieces as they serve some of their most delicious food creations influenced by cultures from around the world – are you ready to Taste Texas?
Here are some of the culinary events you will not want to miss:
Southern Hospitality
When: October 28th, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Where: Pearl Brewery

In Texas, “Y’all Means All,” and this event celebrates the people with hearts as big as the state. As the saying goes, “Everything is bigger in Texas,” and that includes our hospitality. Get a taste of the South with Southern Hospitality with Chef Jeff Balfour as he hosts an evening filled with comfort food and great company. This event is open to all ages, buy your tickets now!
Hallowine 5k Run
When: October 29th, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Where: The Shops at La Cantera

Set your alarms for an early morning run and bust out those sneakers, it’s time for the Hallowine 5k Run! Finish the run at your pace, walking, running, jogging and everything in between before rewarding your completion with treats. Not only will there be spooktacular bites from some of the city’s top chefs, but there will be adult-only beverages as well. This for-all-ages event is the perfect spot to kick off the spooky season. The Collective: A Modern Take on The Grand Tasting
When: October 27th to October 30th, 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Can you really say you experienced the Tasting Texas Wine + Food Festival to the fullest if you don’t attend The Collective: A Modern Take on The Grand Tasting? This all-inclusive event is considered the epicenter of the Tasting Food + Wine Festival and yes, you read that correctly – all-inclusive. Get access to all the food and beverages you could ever want. Held at historic Travis Park, this grand tasting event is a large outdoor market where guests can snack, sip, or shop their way across vendors and immerse themselves in some of the biggest names in food.

A Journey Through BBQ In Texas

You cannot have an event in San Antonio without a good ole fashioned BBQ. At Botika, enjoy A Journey Through BBQ in Texas. This dinner will showcase various BBQ flavors influenced by Germany, Northern Mexican, African, and Asian cuisine.
Martini Society Dinner
When: October 27th, 6:30 p.m.
