BOO FEST! Family-Friendly Halloween Experience at Six Flags Fiesta Texas is the perfect lighthearted fall experience! No frights here, just fun and delights. With special daytime attractions, such as a trick-or-treat trail and a special kid-friendly Haunted House walkthrough experience, bring the family for a fun fall adventure and enjoy Six Flags Fiesta Texas! The fun begins on September 10 at Six Flags Fiesta Texas and continues select days through the Halloween season.
SeaWorld San Antonio Spooktacular
If you're ready to kick-start the Halloween season, SeaWorld San Antonio welcomes families to its daytime Halloween Spooktacular. This event is all fun and games and is curated especially for those who enjoy the Halloween treats, but aren't so big on the tricks. Thursdays through Sundays from September 15 - October 30, guests of all ages can enjoy traditional Halloween favorites like trick-or-treating, kid-friendly Halloween shows and characters, creative costumes, and a maze that features Spookley the Square PumpkinTM.
Zoo Boo! At the San Antonio Zoo
Start your outdoor fall plans with Zoo Boo! at the San Antonio Zoo beginning September 17, 2022. Bring your little decked-out ghouls and goblins to the San Antonio Zoo for costume contests, trick-or-treating, and other non-scary Halloween fun.
The San Antonio Zoo will also pass out eco-friendly candy from responsibly sourced palm oil. In addition, there will be additional outdoor Zoo Boo! activities available for purchase, such as the Pumpkin Patch and Pick a Pumpkin. Zoo hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Spooky Theme Park Fun
SeaWorld San Antonio Howl-O-Scream
On the flip side, maybe ghosts, goblins, ghouls, and zombies are your thing. That's where SeaWorld San Antonio's Howl-O-Scream comes in. At sundown, the peaceful park you have come to know and love transforms into something sinister. Nightfall awakens hundreds of creatures roaming Terror-tories and they lurking the halls of haunted houses. SeaWorld’s Howl-O-Scream includes FREE haunted houses that are included with your park admission. If you're one of the brave, be sure to check this out this fall season!
Fright Fest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas
When the sun goes down, the thrills come out at Six Flags Fiesta Texas! Designated scare zones throughout the park await to send chills down your spine at Fright Fest. This year, Six Flags Fiesta Texas welcomes limited-time spooky sweets and eats to keep your energy up as you outrun the spookies.
Take a Black History River Cruise
San Antonio is full of history waiting to be discovered. Learn about the significance of the Black community in The Alamo City in a guided Black History River Tour presented by the San Antonio African American Community Archive & Museum (SAAACAM). This insightful tour lasts 100 minutes and will leave you walking away with incredible knowledge of the impactful history of our Black community. Multiple dates are available!
San Antonio Beer Festival
This one is for the adults - head to Crockett Park on October 15th from 12:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for the San Antonio Beer Festival. Enjoy games, food trucks, food booths, local vendors, and music.
The real star of the festival will be the many drinks available, from porters, pilsners, ales, sours, wheats, Belgians, and other types of beer to wines and ciders. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the San Antonio Food Banks, so you can do good while having a fun time.
All guests must be 21 and up with a valid ID. The event will occur rain or shine.
Taste Texas at the Tasting Texas Wine + Food Festival
Can you really claim "Foodie" status if you aren't attending the Tasting Texas Wine + Food Festival? This is the first statewide festival of its kind brought to you in partnership with the iconic James Beard Foundation and Culinaria San Antonio. SpiritLandia Day of the Dead River Parade and Festival
Join us as the city comes together to commemorate loved ones and a timeless tradition at SPIRITLANDIA. SPIRITLANDIA is a Dia de Muertos (Day of The Dead) festival of remembrance. We welcome you to spend time in the Alamo City for a dynamic four-day family celebration, booming with music, culinary delights, artistic creations, and more.
