Twilight At Confluence Park

When: November 4th, 7 – 9pm. Where: Confluence Park

If you have never been to Confluence Park, this is a great way to introduce yourself to it! An event made especially for neurodiverse individuals and caregivers (though all are welcome!), Alora Pop-Up Series: Twilight at Confluence Park is a free event that includes an informal walking tour of Confluence Park grounds paired with movement and sound baths. Refreshments and snacks will be available as well.

 

SeaWorld Christmas Celebration

SeaWorld San Antonio's Christmas Celebration is decking out the halls for the BIGGEST Christmas celebration in Texas, an extraordinary holiday event. This wintry wonderland features Christmas shows, festive foods, Santa Claus, the largest Christmas light display in Texas and so much more!

 

Cinema on Will’s Plaza, The Fantastic Mr. Fox

When: November 11th, 7:30pm – 9:00pm Where: Will's Plaza at Tobin Center for the Performing Arts

On the second Friday of each month, The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts hosts an outdoor movie screening free for all to attend. If you find yourself in the Alamo City on the second Friday of November, be sure to bring your blankets and lawn chairs, and come out to the cinema on Will's Plaza on November 11th for a showing of the Fantastic Mr. Fox directed by Wes Anderson. This animated film is based on the beloved tale from Roald Dahl and tells the story of Mr. Fox, who outfoxes (pun intended) three farmers. Full concessions and a bar are available for drinks and eats.

 

Lightscape at the San Antonio Botanical Garden

Lightscape at the Botanical Garden returns to San Antonio this November and if you visited last year, this exhibit was just getting started. In addition to last year's most beloved installations, stunning new additions have been added to make the one-mile path that winds through the Garden illuminated with thousands of twinkling lights and festive displays. Take a stroll through unique installations that can only be found in Texas, created and curated by local and international artists - be sure to purchase your tickets ahead of time!

 

Black History River Boat Cruise

If you're a history buff, SAAACAM's Black History River Boat Cruise is for you. Drift down the river on a barge as you take a 100-minute thought-provoking mental journey through time. Hear about the stories and legacies of African American history that shaped the city and the lasting impacts made by heroes of long ago.

 

Tres Culturas, Un Puerto Rico (Three Cultures, One Puerto Rico)

In San Antonio culture sings - and dances! Brought to you by the Puerto Rican Heritage Society, Tres Culturas, Un Puerto Rico (Three Cultures, One Puerto Rico) details the origin story of Puerto Rico through unique storytelling methods. Featuring Ballet Folklórico Sangre Viva, based in Puerto Rico, you'll experience world-class folkloric music and dance performances including live musicians poetry and more!

 

Goo Goo Dolls at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts

Do you not want the world to see you because you don't think that they'd understand? If so, then you're in luck. The Goo Goo Dolls pay a visit to San Antonio on November 15 at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. Hear some of their greatest hits paired with songs from "Chaos in Bloom," the band's latest album released in 2022.

Ready to light up one of the city's largest Christmas trees? Head over to Travis Park the Friday after Thanksgiving for H-E-B's Christmas Tree Lighting 2022 to illuminate the tree for the first time of the season! Tree lighting is at 6:20pm, but the fun doesn't stop there. Stay after for a free screening of "The Polar Express!"

 

Ford Holiday River Parade and River Lighting Ceremony 2022

When: November 25th, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Where: The San Antonio River Walk

Kick off the holiday season with the 41st Ford Holiday River Parade and River Lighting Ceremony. Santa and Mrs. Claus are back, and they're bringing 28 illuminated floats and 100,000 dazzling lights. Plan ahead and purchase your tickets now! Dinner packages are also available from some of the most prominent restaurants along the River Walk. Free seating areas are available along the parade route, but these are first-come, first served. You won't miss this spectacular holiday, found only in San Antonio.
