Located in a historical building that once was Pearl’s Administration Building, Cured meshes the perfect line between fine dining and rustic chic.  

Best Quality Daughter 

Pioneering new Asian-American cuisine, Best Quality Daughter was rated one of the top 10 new restaurants in America by USA Today. Chef and owner Jennifer Dobbertin started a series of pop-up dinners to address the sparsity of Asian-American female chefs in South Texas. Later it evolved into a brick and mortar and Quealy Watson joined as the other chef and owner. 

Brasserie Mon Chou Chou

The inside is filled with brassy light fixtures, Parisian inspired tiling, and dark cane chairs that make for a cozy date spot. Come for the steak and frites and stay for the ambiance!

This modern wine shop and bar serves a highly curated selection of wine, beer, and cider from all around the world. They also have a small bites menu with offerings such as charcuterie boards, flatbreads, snacks. Sit on the patio to enjoy your wine outside under the twinkling lights.

Located inside the Hotel Emma, when you first walk into the stunning tavern, the 25-foot vaulted ceiling catches your breath. With intimate seating areas, Sternewirth Tavern & Club Room is the perfect spot to grab a drink and converse.  

Blue Box Bar 

With a story rich in history, Blue Box Bar is named after the night workers who kept an eye on the overnight Pearl beer brewing. These workers would have an unmarked blue cooler with the beer inside they were allowed to drink hence the name “Blue Box.” With hand-crafted cocktails, a wine and beer list, and a cigar list, there’s something on the menu for everyone.

If you are looking for live music, dancing, and drinks, check out a show at Jazz, TX. Located downstairs in the basement of the Bottling Department, this cozy venue combines a jazz club with a slice of Texas dance hall vibes. If Jazz music isn’t your thing, they offer a broad selection of music genres from Blues, Texas Swing, and Salsa music with seven shows weekly.
