Fall Trip to San Antonio Sweepstakes

No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win. A Purchase Will Not Improve Your Chances of Winning.

1. How to Enter: There is one way to win: by random drawing through online entry. Entry is free of charge. RANDOM DRAWING: Enter online, complete all fields in registration form at www.visitsanantonio.com/fallwin and click on "submit". You will receive one (1) entry into the random drawing. Sweepstakes begins at midnight Central Daylight Time ("CDT") on 09/23/2008. Online entries only and only one (1) entry per email address allowed. Entry must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. CDT on 10/07/08. The San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau assumes no responsibility for illegible, lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, technically corrupted or stolen entries. Entries become the property of the San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau and will not be acknowledged or returned. The San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau reserves the right to send San Antonio literature to each entrant in the future.
2. Random Drawing: On or about 10/14/08, a random drawing to select one (1) Grand Prize winner from among eligible sweepstakes entries received will be conducted under the supervision of the San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau, whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. The winner will be notified by e-mail on or about 14 days after the drawing.
3. Prizes: Grand Prize package: One (1) 3-night stay package for four (4) people in San Antonio, Texas including: lodging for four (4), for 3 nights at the Historic Crockett Hotel; passes for four (4) to Alamo Trolley Tours, Buckhorn Saloon & Museum, IMAX Theatre Rivercenter, San Antonio Zoo, San Antonio Botanical Garden, Tower of the Americas and the Skies Over Texas 4-D Theater Ride and the Witte Museum. Winner receives a $250 Visa gift card to be spent at the winner’s discretion. All other expenses not listed are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Hotel reservations must be made at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and are subject to availability. Standard room and tax only, no incidentals included. Non-transferable and not valid New Year's Eve, Fiesta, Riverlighting or blackout dates. All prizes must be used between 10/14/08 and 10/14/09. Unused portions of this vacation will be forfeited. No substitutions will be made for any prize except at the discretion of San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau, who may substitute prizes of equivalent, lesser or greater value. No cash in lieu of prize.
4. Odds: Odds of winning the grand prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Estimated entrants to sweepstakes: 4,000.
5. Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to legal United States residents who are 21 years of age or older, except employees of San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau, participating hotels and attractions, their agents, affiliates, subsidiaries and members of their immediate families and persons residing in the same household. Void in Puerto Rico and anywhere outside of the U.S., and where prohibited.
6. General: Entry constitutes permission to use the winner's entry, name, hometown, voice, likeness, photograph and any statements regarding this sweepstakes for editorial, public relations, promotional, and advertising purposes on behalf of San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau without compensation, unless prohibited by law. Grand Prize winner may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability/Publicity within ten (10) days of notification attempt or an alternate winner will be selected by a random drawing. All persons accompanying the Grand Prize winner, or their parent/guardian if a minor, will be required to sign a Liability/Publicity Release prior to the trip. By accepting a prize, each winner releases San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau, its affiliates and agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, costs or expenses, including without limitation property damages, personal injury and/or death arising out of participating in this Sweepstakes, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, or travel to or from any sweepstakes related activity, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.
7. Applicable Law: Subject to all U.S. federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
8. Internet: If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to an infection by a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, at which time, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received at the time of the Sweepstakes termination. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Sponsor due to technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person 21 years of age or older who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, education institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Use of automated devices is not valid for entry.
9. Winner's List: For the name of the Grand Prize winner, available after 10/28/08, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to: San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau.
