San Antonio is often called Military City USA. The military presence in San Antonio is unbroken for nearly 300 years and today the city has one of the nation's largest active- and retired-military populations. San Antonio has trained, equipped, and cared for America’s fighting men and women as a way of life. We welcome the families of 132,000 students who graduate from military training here each year.
