Located on the grounds of Fort Sam Houston, this museum depicts the history of military medicine from 1775 to the present. Battlefield art drawn by wounded soldiers provides a unique perspective on the army medical profession, as does an array of transportation ranging from horse-drawn ambulances to railroad car hospitals.
