Downtown travel is a breeze on the VIA Trolley, an open air, authentic reproduction of a rail streetcar which traveled the streets of San Antonio more than 50 years ago. Four streetcar routes stop at downtown locations, including the Alamo, the Spanish Governor's Palace, La Villita, Sunset Station, the Southwest School of Art and Craft, the Institute of Texan Cultures, the King William Historic District and downtown shopping. The downtown streetcar station at Convention Plaza provides convenient access for travelers.

VIA's Downtown Information Center (260 East Houston) is open six days a week, Monday - Friday 7 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Other Information Centers are located at Crossroads Mall, Randolph Park & Ride and Ingram Transit Center.
