Event Description

Visit Market Square (the nation’s largest Mexican marker) for Fiestas Navideñas, a holiday celebration throughout December that includes La Gran Posada—San Fernando Cathedral’s (the oldest cathedral sanctuary in the U.S.) re-enactment of Mary and Joseph’s search for shelter (December, TBD) and the 31st annual blessing of the pets. Market Square is also a great location for authentic Christmas shopping; you’ll find indigenous pottery and Mexican jewelry.
