A Golf Course That Rocks

The Quarry Golf CourseSan Antonio does classic and it does contemporary. And we build unique golf courses unlike any you've ever played, like The Quarry Golf Club, which has a national reputation as a "must play" San Antonio golf course.

True to its name, The Quarry's unique layout was carved from grounds once operated by the Alamo Cement Plant. Nevermind the golfers -- workers here once did some serious hacking. Perhaps the most famous moment for the old quarry was that it supplied the cement for the State Capitol of Texas, not to mention many of the landmarks in and around San Antonio.

But in 1983, the cement plant was closed and left with only history and memories. Construction for the Quarry course began in 1992 and it opened in November of 1993.

The 100-foot rock walls of the back nine, native grasses, rolling hills, 10-acre lake and links-style landscape of the front nine combine to make The Quarry Golf Club the people’s public country club and a compelling destination for local or visiting players. It ranks #7 on a list of the most unique courses in America.
