Hurricane Ike Information
Nearly 150 miles inland, the City of San Antonio plays an important part in the staging and coordination of emergency operations for Hurricane Ike, which is forecasted to make landfall on the coast early Saturday. San Antonio's Emergency Operations Center is headquartered at Port San Antonio (former Kelly Air Force Base), south west of town, and are not expected to pose an interruption to business in the city center.
