The goals of the May 2008 golf summit meeting were to create an organization that embraces and cultivates empowerment, creative thinking and provides successive opportunities. We want to promote a culture that is focused on a team goal: greater economic impact for San Antonio through tourism, expand the awareness of San Antonio in markets like New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Chicago and the West Coast. We also want to establish a strong brand image that conveys what San Antonio stands for and promises and positions the city as a competitive leisure and business travel destination.
