The Museo Alameda tells the unique story of the Latino experience in America. The first organization in the nation to sign an affiliation agreement with the Smithsonian Institution – Museo Alameda takes full advantage of access to the collections, exhibitions, and educational programming of the Smithsonian. This year, the 110-year old Former Texas Rangers Association marks another historic milestone with the opening of The Texas Ranger Museum located in the world famous Buckhorn Museum. The Texas Ranger Museum, which is a joint project of the Association and the Buckhorn, opened in October of 2006 and this March, we celebrate the Grand Opening of this new and exciting venture. The Texas Ranger Museum occupies 8,000 square feet and creates a dynamic guest experience that depicts the vast history of the Texas Rangers. The museum is divided into three distinct venues.

If you've not visited the Tower of the Americas in the past year, it's time to return since the renovation in 2006. For more than 35 years, the 750-foot tall Tower has offered residents and tourists of San Antonio the most breathtaking view of the Alamo City. In addition to the Chart House restaurant, there is a Texas-themed, 4-D, multi-sensory theater and the most magnificant view of the Alamo City.

SaltGrass Steak House is the newest edition on the river walk. Salt Grass is located across the river from the Rainforest Cafe. which became a part of the San Antonio River Walk in January 2006.
Chart House - at the Tower of Americas in HemsiFair Park. Chart House, a Landry's fine dining restaurant, now occupies the rotating restaurant at the Tower of the Americas.
