Venue Description

The historic San Pedro Playhouse has been home to one of the oldest continuously operating live theaters in the southwest since its completion in 1930. Having recently completed a multi-million dollar rennovation, the Playhouse has been restored to its original beauty while incorporating state-of-the art technology. The building houses two theaters--the intimate 60-seat Cellar Theater and the 400-seat Russell Hill Rogers Theater. Its award-winning, critically acclaimed productions include musicals, dramas, comedies and orginal works. Located in beautiful San Pedro Springs Park just north of downtown San Antonio, parking is free.

Directions

From Loop 410 and Northstar Mall, go south on San Pedro Avenue to Ashby. Turn right on Ashby and turn left into the parking lot behind the McFarland Tennis Center. From downtown, travel north on San Pedro to Ashby. Turn left on Ashby.
