Event Description

To commemorate the Day of the Dead, an altar according to the Otomi tradition from Hidalgo, Mexico and a traditional altar to the great bullfighter Lorenzo Garza, who was born in Monterrey, México will be displayed. There will also be a performance by the Guadalupe Dance Company and Urban 15.

Jazz Meets Classical XVI. For the sixteenth year of collaboration between jazz and classical musicians in San Antonio. At the Auditorium of the Instituto Cultural de México (Mexican Cultural Institute) Musical Offerings presents homegrown jazz and classical music right from the U.S. of A. Music of Wynton Marsalis, Kenji Bunch, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein and others.
