Event Description

All music scores must be submitted with the fight song competition application, which may be downloaded from www.uiw.edu/fightsong. No entries will be considered without the completed Application submitted with the score. Scores must be original compositions. Scores must be submitted as a Finale or Sibelius file and as a hard copy. Scores must be minimally be in a lead-sheet format (melody, chords, and lyrics); may be fully orchestrated for band. Winning score will be fully orchestrated by the UIW Music Department, as necessary. Scores must contain the composer’s name, telephone number, and email address; this information will be blocked out for judging purposes. This competition is open to the San Antonio community. The judges’ decision is final. The judges reserve the right to declare
